DTCM SIGN AGREEMENT WITH UNIVERSITY OF DUBAI FOR INTERNATIONAL COMPUTER DRIVING LICENSE

The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) has signed an agreement with the University of Dubai for the training of its staff for the International Computer Driving License (ICDL) programme.

The agreement was signed by Haneen Abu Baker, DTCM Director of Training and Development, and Dr. Mahmood Awan, Manager, Technology Center, University of Dubai.

Established in 1997, the University of Dubai receives its authority and funding support from the Dubai Chamber (formerly Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry).

The ICDL is an internationally recognised qualification that enables people to demonstrate their competence in computer skills. The ICDL is the world’s largest end-user computer skills certification programme, with more than nine million candidates in 148 countries. The ICDL programme and is offered in 42 languages, including Arabic.
