Signed “Al Hosn University,” the leading educational institution in the provision of quality education and outstanding and the Abu Dhabi-based, recently signed a joint cooperation with the “Society of Engineers in the United Arab Emirates,” a three-year renewable term. Agreement was signed by HE Dr. Khalil Ibrahim Al Hosni, Vice President of the Association of Engineers in the United Arab Emirates, HE Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahim soapy director “University of the fort.”

This agreement aims to utilize the experience of the General’s domestic and international support “Hosn University” to improve the quality of engineering education, thus leading to strengthening the role of the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences in achieving the vision of the university “a global vision, local knowledge.” Within the framework of the Convention, Parties undertake to organize a joint annual event in addition to regular meetings every six weeks to discuss issues of common concern. The parties shall endeavor to cooperate in the organization of conferences, educational programs and workshops as well as the exchange of research and technical reports and academic studies and participate in promotions and advertising for all programs and activities in different media in order to serve common interests.

And HE Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahim soapy, director of the “University of the fort,” the thrust of the Convention, pointing out that the university’s collaboration with one of the most effective institutions in the field of engineering in the State is an extremely important step for the University of the fort, and to provide students and faculty members with the latest methodologies, trends and techniques used in the engineering sector. This cooperation will also contribute effectively to inform students on the practical applications according to different competences, which enables them to absorb the curriculum and theoretical information they receive through the classroom. Dr. Al-Hosni said: “The preparation of engineering students in the proper form in practice to the highest international standards, a very important step to regulate the engineering profession. The “Society of Engineers in the United Arab Emirates” a quasi-governmental, non-profit organization was founded in 1979, where the provision of high quality services to the engineering sector, a valuable state. It has managed to achieve many of the important achievements on the level of accreditation and regulation of the practice of engineering profession and engineering specifications and standards adopted as well as upgrading the skills of engineers in the UAE through training centers and development.
